Networking & Referrals
Similar to the Dream 100, networking and referrals are also an important part of your strategy to market and monetize your podcast. One of the biggest benefits I have found to have an interview-style podcast is the networking aspect. I have made so many powerful connections through podcast networking. And if you network enough, that could lead to referrals too. Maybe the person you are networking with that was a guest on your show or you were a guest on theirs, even if they don’t need your product or service, perhaps someone they know might and they will refer you because they know you offer that product or service. Referrals and word-of-mouth marketing are still (and always will be) the number one way to accrue new customers, clients, and overall business.
